Here come some cute pictures your way!

I just added the funny ones, now here are the just plain adorable ones!!

Funny pictures

These are just some funny pictures from when some of our family were here last week.

Winter CO pictures

Here are just a few beautiful shots of around CO last week. Imagine getting to see this every day as we do. :-) One of the reasons we love it here so much!

This first one is the view from our house.

I love my husband!!!

This is my favorite all-time picture of Mike and I. It was just taken last week when Mom C., Kelly and Ava were here. As much as I love the picture, I love the man way more! :-)

My Little Beauty

Call me biased, but I think she's gorgeous!

Ava Attends the School of the Jolly Jester

As you all know, Christopher has a habit of hamming it up a bit. Here's a pic for the record.

Christopher's been workin on Ava, trying his hardest to draw out a funny face or wild pose. He's been largely unsuccessful, but today he was able to draw out a borderline goofy face. I guess he's rubbin off on her a bit.

And one more pic just cuz it's cute.

Additions to the Cohen Household

Now that the kids are a bit older we decided it was time to be a pet wielding household once again.

This is Max. He's a bit of a problem dog, though Jodi will holler at me for saying so - "He is not! Poor Max." We've had Max for a few months now and he's getting much better. He's a bit of a scardy cat. He's got the personality of a Chihuahua in a medium-large dog sized body - imagine what that's like.

This is Caesar. He's a dog's dog. Nothing like a Chihuahua. He hunts, barks, chases rabbits, fetches balls, etc. He's probably a bit too much of a dog's dog. He also jumps up on people when he's excited, hops up on the counter or table to get at some food and takes food out of your hand as your eating it (if you're a small child). We're working on his manners, but all in all he's a great dog. We found him at the local dog shelter last Saturday.

There you have it, we're a two dog household.

Basement Floor Plans; or HELP!

As many of you know we hope to begin working on our basement soon. It's just under 1200 square feet and effectively doubles the living space in our home. Surviving with 3 kids, 2 adults and a dog in our current 1200 square feet can be a very tiring endavor! We're VERY excited about the prospect of more space.

We've narrowed our floor plan down to two options.

Option 1: This option includes a dedicated guest room bringing the total bedrooms to 5. We like the idea of giving our guests a little privacy... plus they don't have to sleep on a small twin sized bed in Cayla's room.

Option 2: This option includes one less bedroom but adds space for a play room. I like this one b/c the kids can go play and I won't hear them in my office :D I also like the open space.

Well, there you have it. Tell us which option you like best and why!

Out there with you daddy

It's great having boys. They seem to have a mostly healthy interest in the things daddy does. While I was in the garage this afternoon, Jacob came to the doorway and said in his cute little voice "Out there with you daddy?" (He's really starting to string together basic sentences). Christopher spends time in the garage with me every chance he gets. He loves to watch and help. He even gets a kick out of using the Shop Vac to vacuum up all the sawdust.

Cayla on the other hand... She loves to come out in the garage just like the boys do. Her motivation is a little different though. She enjoys poking around where she shouldn't and playing with things that aren't toys. What a little trouble maker!
